On May 30th my sister in law, Emily was baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Good job Emily we are proud of your righteous decision.
Lots of other fun things happened that weekend as well
We installed our car seat. It turned out to be a real blessing that we did it before she arrived because we orginally had it behind the driver’s side seat but the car seat was too long so Jared couldn’t put the his seat back as far as he would like. So, now we have it in the middle were it is just right.
We also had a girls lunch (plus Logan) at Zupas (a delicious soup and salad place) to celebrate Nicia’s birthday which would be on the fourth of June. I only took pictures with Logan sorry.

Baby Shower
May 17th
I had another baby shower on last Saturday, May 8th. It was put on my my mother-in-law Serena with help from my other mother-in-law, Kathy and my sister-in-law, Starrie. We had a lovely breakfast consisting of a breakfast casserole, fruit, and muffins. Starrie also provided a couple of fun games. One game was where everyone picked which traits the baby would have (Mommy’s or Daddy’s) and whoever was closest to my paper won. The other game was to guess how big my waist was using a string. Most were way too big but Hailey was the closest. They were really fun games. We talked and then I got to open all the fun presents. The biggest present was a travel system. We requested donations to go to the travel system. I or rather Sarah also got lots of fun clothes, blankets, a plush lamb, a Costco box of wipes, and bath stuff. My mother-in-law Kathy made me a very cute hooded towel with bath stuff to go with it. My sister-in-law Nicia made me a cute diaper case and some burp rags. I think that covers the gifts, sorry if I left something out. We had a really fun time. Thank you to everyone who came and for all of the amazing gifts!

Girl’s Night Out

Last weekend was General Conference weekend. For those who don’t belong to the same church as me that is when the leaders of my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, speak to the everyone over a televised broadcast. One of the meetings is for all the men of the church so many have the tradition ( in Utah especially) of making that time a girls night out and do something fun while the men are away. So I got together with my sister-in-laws Emily, Caitlin, and Starrie, and my mother-in-law Kathy and we went Bowling. My niece Jocelynn was there as well, but she didn’t do much bowling. She only bowled once with her Mom, which she got 9 pins. This is especially good considering that she is 3 months old.
Caitlin won bowling. I of course was one of the last people. Did I every mention that I suck at bowling. Regardless of my talent or lack there of I always have lots of fun bowling. Then again maybe it was just an accomplishment for me to bowl at 8 months pregnant. After bowling, we went back to Caitlin’s apartment and had homemade pizza with cookies for desert. It was pretty fun.

Baby Shower
Mar 26th
My Mom threw me a baby shower for my side of the family. Anyway, my mom did a great job with the help of my cousin Kitty and my Aunt Kathy. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We had it on Saturday (March 13) between 11 am-1 pm. It was an open house with a light lunch. We had two kinds of soup, rolls, salads, and cupcakes. It was really fun. We mostly just talked. It was great to catch up with my cousins and sister-in-laws. It it was also great fun to get all the little cute things and necessities for our baby girl. It makes it feel like we really will have a baby. (Side Note: Lately when I’ve been telling people my due date they have told me how soon it is. I love it!) Unfortunately, I didn’t take much pictures at the baby shower, but here is what I have.
