30 Weeks!

Here I am at 30 weeks!  That means I only have 10 weeks to go, give or take

(I am currently at 31 weeks and 9 weeks to go).

I have to brag a little bit. I am carrying this baby really high so I still fit in most regular jeans (if they are low cut). So, I just wanted to point out that those are my normal jeans which are zipped up and buttoned. I got these jeans in high school and I did wear them all day.

Baby Shower

My Mom threw me a baby shower for my side of the family. Anyway, my mom did a great job with the help of my cousin Kitty and my Aunt Kathy. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We had it on Saturday (March 13) between 11 am-1 pm. It was an open house with a light lunch. We had two kinds of soup, rolls, salads, and cupcakes. It was really fun. We mostly just talked. It was great to catch up with my cousins and sister-in-laws. It it was also great fun to  get all the little cute things and necessities for our baby girl. It makes it feel like we really will have a baby. (Side Note: Lately when I’ve been telling people my due date they have told me how soon it is. I love it!) Unfortunately, I didn’t take much pictures at the baby shower, but here is what I have.

Thank you once again for the baby shower. I loved it!

jogging stroller

Jogging Stroller

If you had read my baby advice post you know that I really wanted a jogging stroller. Well, after reading that my sister, Katie called me and said that I could use her jogging stroller. She has two kids now and it only fits one. Needless to say I jumped at the offer. The only problem was that I live in Utah and my sister lives in Minnesota and jogging strollers are not small and compact. Well, she found a huge box and sent it to me. You should of seen how well Katie packed it. I really don’t think I realized what a feat that was until I looked at the box. I just received it today! I am so excited. I got it out out of the box and put the wheels on it and moved it around the room. It moves like a dream. I am so excited. So, watch out everyone I’m going to be in shape this summer! THANK YOU KATIE!!! You are definitely the best.

Bows

Bows

So, I am not amazingly crafty, but I pretend to be every once in a while. While my Mom was in town we got a lot of ribbon (I also had her bring up some of the ribbon she doesn’t use. THANKS MOM) and we made bows for my baby. I’m sure I ended up spending more money on ribbon then I would have it I just bought the bows. Oh well. I think a lot of them turned out cute. I am still going to make some more and it has been pretty fun to just get out my ribbon and make bows. Here are the bows I have. (I made most of them, my mom also made some, and then there is one I bought, and one that I was given)

baptism

Hailey’s Baptism

My niece Hailey was baptized on Friday! If you belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints you can be baptized at age 8. She turned 8 and made the decision to be baptized. I am very proud of her.

(Sorry I forgot to take pictures).
