Guessing Game
May 17th
(Picture taken at 36 weeks)
I am officially 38 weeks, which means I am considered full term. This means that if the baby comes now there would be minimal risks of complications. Full term is considered anywhere from 37-42 weeks. So, in celebration of my full term-ness I am starting the guessing game. To play you need to comment and make the following guesses.
1. What day will the baby be born?
2. What time will the baby be born (be sure to include AM/PM)?
3. How much will the baby weigh?
4. How tall will the baby be?
Rules:
The winner will receive a prize. I will have a winner for each category, so there will be at least four winners. (You use the same answers as another person if you wish, so there may be more than four winners). (No guesses after she is already born obviously)
Note: I am officially due June 1st
So, lets play the guessing game.
Three Years
May 17th
Jared and I have officially been married for 3 years! May 12th was our anniversary. I had to work until 8 so we went to lunch together at Cafe Rio (as shown in picture above), since we didn’t think we would go to dinner. Well when we got home we wanted to do something fun so we decided to go to a movie. We hadn’t eaten dinner yet so we were going to the food court but on the way there we saw a sign for Ruby River Steakhouse and detoured there. It was delicious. I got a tenderloin stake and Jared got a Buffalo Burger. If you haven’t been there you really should go. We also got Jared’s Uncle Kevin as our server so we had wonderful service. Thanks Kevin! Then since we missed the movie we got Sherlock Holmes from the red box and watched it at home. It was a wonderful anniversary! Thank you Jared for being such a wonderful husband and making the last 3 years amazing!
Mother’s Day
May 17th
This was the first year I got to celebrate Mother’s Day for me. Jared didn’t want to celebrate it until I was actually a mother. I consider my self enough of a mother now to get it celebrated. After all if my baby was born now there would be a 99% chance that she would survive, I shelter her and feed her therefore, I am a mother. Jared got me a willow tree figuring for mother’s day. As for the rest of the day, we spent the morning relaxing, when to church, I talked to my mom, and then we went to Jared’s mom’s house to celebrate and hang out. Overall it was a great first mother’s day.
I want to thank all the mother’s in my life for all the hard work they do for me and love they give me!
Happy Mother’s Day
Baby Shower
May 17th
I had another baby shower on last Saturday, May 8th. It was put on my my mother-in-law Serena with help from my other mother-in-law, Kathy and my sister-in-law, Starrie. We had a lovely breakfast consisting of a breakfast casserole, fruit, and muffins. Starrie also provided a couple of fun games. One game was where everyone picked which traits the baby would have (Mommy’s or Daddy’s) and whoever was closest to my paper won. The other game was to guess how big my waist was using a string. Most were way too big but Hailey was the closest. They were really fun games. We talked and then I got to open all the fun presents. The biggest present was a travel system. We requested donations to go to the travel system. I or rather Sarah also got lots of fun clothes, blankets, a plush lamb, a Costco box of wipes, and bath stuff. My mother-in-law Kathy made me a very cute hooded towel with bath stuff to go with it. My sister-in-law Nicia made me a cute diaper case and some burp rags. I think that covers the gifts, sorry if I left something out. We had a really fun time. Thank you to everyone who came and for all of the amazing gifts!
And now for the pictures

Thank you again to everyone who came and especially for all those who helped put it together. THANK YOU
