Thursday June 3rd

Sarah turned onto her side, crazy I know. This video isn’t very good but it gives you the general idea.

Friday June 4th

First tummy time. Look at how strong our little girl is. Pay extra attention to her legs and head. She totally is already doing the crawling motion.

First stroller trip. We walked up the block and down with Sarah in the stroller. She didn’t seem to notice that this was her first stroller trip as she slept the whole time.

First day in her crib (she outgrew the Moses basket when she learned moved so much, I didn’t sleep Thursday night because I was afraid she would suffocate.)

Saturday June 5th

Second outing in stroller. Sarah didn’t like this one because she got too hot.

Sunday June 6th

My Mom figured out how to get Sarah to sleep from feeding to feeding. Sarah hates to sleep on her back and so would kick and kick until she went on her side, which would wake her up and then she would cry and need to be comforted, like every 20 minutes, all through the night. Well, my mom figured this out and put a rolled up towel against her back so she would stay on her side. This works amazingly well. She now can sleep 2-3 hours in a row between feedings. Believe me that this is a major improvement and I can’t tell you how much better I feel and how grateful I am for 2 hours of sleep in a row. Thanks Mom you are a life saver!

Monday June 7th

Second car ride (first car ride after coming home from the hospital). We went to In-N-Out (the drive thru) and to the park to eat it. However it was a little stormy and windy so Sarah never got out of her car seat and was asleep most of the time so I don’t think she appreciated the significance of the occasion.

Tuesday June 8th

Sarah is one week old!
