Becky, Jared and Sarah
Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving was very busy this year. (so busy I didn’t really take a lot of pictures, sorry) All my family was up in Utah. This is no small number. My family (including parents, couples, and kids) consists of 21 people. Also, Jared’s sister Nicia and her family (Joe and Alyssa) came up from Wyoming. So, we had a lot of family.
Wednesday

So on Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) we went geocaching around BYU and to in and out and just hung out with Nicia and family.
Thursday Thanksgiving
On Thursday (Thanksgiving) we had family pictures with Jared’s Mom.
Then I gave them a Christmas present early. It was a book with all the family member’s pictures, including the expecting family members. Needless to say it was well received. We hung out there and at Grandma Robins home until it was time to go to to my family’s Thanksgiving. There (it was at my aunt’s house) I also gave them their Christmas present which also was a book full of all the family members, including the expecting. They liked the book as well. We had a crazy Thanksgiving there. I believe there were over 70 people if I remember the tally right. So we got to talk to some of my siblings and cousins but it was crazy. It was fun though. Then we ended the day by going to Jared’s dad house. We gave them their Christmas book, they also liked it. Then we hung out with them the rest of the night. Overall it was a very busy Thanksgiving, but I think we did well in staying well rounded and visiting with everyone.
Friday

The day after Thanksgiving my cousin, Tim got married. We got to go to the sealing in the Draper temple. The Draper temple is a beautiful temple. I love going to temple sealing! There is something very special about a temple sealing. The biggest part would be that the couple is sealed for time and all eternity which is so special and adds so much meaning to life and death. The other part I like is before the ordinance the sealer talks and shares his wisdom. I also learn or gain better understanding about life and the plan of salvation. It is always a wonderful experience. After the sealing we had a luncheon and the reception. Everything was wonderful of course. I may be selfish but I’m glad that another one of my cousins joined me in this crazy place called the land of the married.
Saturday

Saturday we had a baby shower for Starrie, my sister-in-law. They had a big turn out. It was fun we had food, baby crosswords, melted chocolate diapers, presents, guess how big Starrie is, and guess how many diapers games. Needless to say we had a very action packed couple of hours. Hopefully Starrie is now ready for her baby girl (due January 2nd) but may come this month. We also went to New Moon!!! I have to say I thought it was good. I thought they actually got most (but not all) the key events. It was fun!
! Then I got home just in time to watch BYU beat Utah in overtime. GO BYU!
Sunday

Sunday was a baby blessing. My brother David’s new baby boy, Cory was blessed. Our whole family was there, unfortunately most of them had to leave soon after. We still had a nice potato bar lunch. Then we went home and set up our Christmas tree, but I will talk more about that in our next post.
So, I think you can agree that we had a busy Thanksgiving. Sorry about the lack of pictures.
