Becky, Jared and Sarah
The Moment You Have All Been Waiting For
(I guess people who don’t have Mac’s couldn’t see the pictures. I guess… Anyway, we updated the pictures, so hopefully you can see them now. This is not a new post, just re-published with the pictures in jpg format.)
We are pleased to announce a new addition to our family. We are expecting a baby on June 1st, 2010. We found out on Thursday that our baby is going to be a girl. Needless to say we are really excited. Now to answer any and all questions you may have.
What are you having? Girl
What are you going to name here? Sara or Sarah. (we are pretty set on that name so don’t dis it or try to talk us out of it. Also, do not mention any Sarah’s you know famous or otherwise, we are not naming her after anyone in particular, we just like the name)
When’s the baby due? June 1st
How far along are you? I am 20 weeks and 4 days. That means I am in my second trimester. I am over half way done with my pregnancy. I am 144 days through my pregnancy. That is about 5 months. I have 19 weeks and 3 days to go or 136 days.
How are you (Becky) feeling? I did have a little bit of morning sickness in my first trimester. I also decided that the sense of smell is not a wonderful thing. However, right now and for the last month I have been feeling great! So, no need to ask me about morning sickness because I am passed that and am doing fine.
Did/do you have any food cravings? I don’t think I had any major food cravings, mostly I have had food aversions where nothing sounds good. However, if you just put a plate of food in front of me I usually do fine. If I had to say I was craving anything it would have been oranges. (Also… one night she wanted fruit. But I thought smoothies sounded good. The smoothie place was closed. So she wanted a milkshake. She didn’t want the typical vanilla/chocolate milkshake, she wanted a fruit milkshake. So we went to a different place and got a fruit milkshake, which she only ate 1/3 of. She ate the rest the next day.)
Are you showing? I am showing now, but I’m not crazy big yet. I may still pass as just looking like I have gained a few pounds in the belly region; Jared would disagree with that statement though. This is me at 19 weeks, I am slightly bigger now.
Is the baby healthy? Yes according to my last ultrasound the baby is doing really healthy and is developing according to schedule.
Are you ready to be parents? We are very excited to become parents. I don’t think anyone can be truly ready to be parents until they actually are parents.
Now here are our first baby pictures!
